Introduction

VisaGo ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application that provides visa requirement information for travelers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

VisaGo stores all user data locally on your device. We collect and store the following information on-device only:

• Passport nationality selections — stored locally to display relevant visa requirements for your citizenship
• Trip plans and dates — stored locally for trip planning and departure reminders
• Visa stay tracking entries — stored locally to help you monitor your permitted stays
• App preferences — such as notification settings and display options

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data remains on your device.

Third-Party Services

VisaGo integrates the following third-party services, each of which may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob — Displays advertisements to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing — Processes premium subscription purchases through the Google Play Store. All payment information is handled entirely by Google. See Google Payments Privacy Notice.
• Google Play Services — Provides core functionality including the User Messaging Platform (UMP) for GDPR consent management.

Advertising & Consent

Free-tier users see banner and interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. We use the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect consent from users in regions where required (such as the EU/EEA under GDPR). You may update your ad consent preferences at any time through the app settings.

Premium subscribers do not see any advertisements.

Data Storage & Security

All personal data (passports, trips, visa stays, and preferences) is stored locally on your device in an application-private database. We do not operate any servers that receive or store your personal information.

If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission (Android 13+ requires explicit opt-in), VisaGo may send local notifications for:

• Trip departure reminders (30, 14, 7, and 1 day before departure)
• Passport expiry warnings
• Visa stay expiry alerts

These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are not sent through any external push notification service.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. The only data that leaves your device is:

• Standard analytics collected by Google AdMob (for ad-supported users)
• Purchase transaction data handled by Google Play Billing

Children's Privacy

VisaGo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. You can:

• View and modify your data directly within the app
• Delete all data by uninstalling the app
• Clear app data through your device's system settings

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
